  • Request for prayers, best wishes

My only grandchild lives in North Carolina about two hours from the coast.
my cousin, who was my best man in my wife and my wedding....lives in South Carolina about two hours from Spartanburg.

weather reports and pics make all this weather far too real.

Hope they live on high ground and stay safe. The forecasted rain totals make this a scary beast of a storm, specially if it falls inland.

Bill. It's my privilege to pray for you family. And I just did.

Have you heard from your family, Bill?

Hope your family members remain safe, Bill. Have a few friends in the area, definitely a stressful time for all involved.

Thanks guys....we haven't heard much this morning. This big storm seems to want to stall....and the trade off is missing huge winds but getting unreal rain. Things seem well so far. Everyone says they are ready to bug out at the call, but it's a waiting game.

Talked with ex daughter in law and grand daughter...staying dry, rain beginning to ease. Concern is a creek a ways behind their house, and how the runoff for the next days will effect it.
Texted my cousin in South Carolina....wet and windy but his town seems to have missed the brunt of things.
Time will tell, but as of Sunday evening all are safe and dry in their own homes.
                        Thanks guys
