I think this is #1 on the list of items that bring the Corvette to modern times. Huge and necessary improvement.
My C7 does not have the magnetic shocks, and I will say that at speed on sweeping turns you can feel the leaf springs if you hit a bump while in the turn. It certainly isn't the same as a longitudinally mounted leaf spring but it does feel different...and obviously both tires are affected by any change in road surface. I would think that prior models are more apparent in this regard when you are trying to drive on a track for example.
