- Golf superstar Tiger Woods was injured Tuesday morning in Los Angeles when his car crashed and rolled over, authorities said.
- Woods, who was the only person in the car, was "extricated from the wreck with the 'jaws of life' by Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics, then transported to a local hospital by ambulance for his injuries," that county's sherriff's department said in a tweet.

Multiple leg injuries. Just had minor back surgery a few weeks ago to remove disc fragments compressing a nerve.Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.

The compound fracture itself can be overcome as witnessed by Alex Smith of Washington. His rehab is gonna be a whole lot longer than 6 months. Listened to a sports medicine guy talk about it - said right now he's likely just having surgeries to set up future surgeries. When my father-in-law broke his leg (not compound fracture bad, but bad no less) it took him over a year just to be able to walk unassisted. He obviously doesn't have Tiger's resources but he did nothing but rehab his leg for over a year.
Tiger will heal and probably be able to walk as normal but it's going to take...a long time.Comment
