Has anybody on here had it? Have been dealing with it for several weeks. Very painful. Sleeping in a boot type contraption to keep my foot still. Doesn’t seem to be improving

Yes, a couple of times (early morning is the worst!)
1. There are some specific stretching exercises that you can google.
2. When sitting at the desk, I rolled a baseball under my foot; this also helps to stretch things out.
3. Ice for 20 minutes afterwards.
The whole regimen a couple times a day (doesn't take too long).
