I just got back from Walmart a little while ago. The tab was $198.19 for a hh of three. There is a disclaimer though. If we need something and Walmart has it we buy it from them. There was a few non grocery items (Rid-X, cat food and dog food) included in the bill.

We have always cooked a lot. Pre-pandemic our grocery bill averaged about $100/week. Now it's about $140.
I've usually been the one that cooks because I find it relaxing. Late fall to early spring usually something prepared on a Sunday evening to last us to Thursday night and usually comfort food. Casseroles, Lasagnas, Instant Pot menus like chili, soups, chicken and dumplings, stews, etc. Late spring to mid fall it's grill, grill, smoke, smoke and usually a cheaper grocery bill in the summer months because we're not eating as heavy. On the grill is primarily vegetables with chicken or the occasional fish.
Extremism is so easy. You've got your position, and that's it. It doesn't take much thought. And when you go far enough to the right you meet the same idiots coming around from the left.
