When I graduated from UK's AG school I worked on a beef cattle farm in Woodford County. One day we took a ride to the KY State Horse Park to see "Big Red". Just a powerful experience. That horse was the most majestic, intimidating looking beast I had ever seen. I couldn't look over his back. Truly awe inspiring. His race at the Derby was legendary. Won by 31 lengths and a still record time. I'll never forget it.

He was amazing, on the track and in person. We went to see him at Claiborne Farm the year after he won the Triple Crown. I don’t think it was possible to fully take that moment in. In years to come, his autopsy showed his heart wasn’t enlarged, just big. He was born to run.Last edited by capcat; 03-12-2023, 08:41 AM.

With the recent discussion of rules and what is and is not posted I set out to find what our mission statement originally was and this is what I found:...
