He's such a class act as well as a heck of a fb player. I hope it works out that he realizes his dream of playing in the NFL.

Praying the new tests will reveal good news about cause and treatment.

Sounds to me like it might be an irregular heart beat. If so, that is very treatable at his age.

Treatable enough for him to be able to play pro ball?

If that’s what it is — and that is a big “IF” and a big guess — then yes, I think so. I was first diagnosed with an irregularity called atrial fib in my 30s. They cleared it up with meds in a week or so. It came back in my 40s and they cleared it with a simple, non-invasive procedure. Came back in my 50s, and I am just living with it now.

But, at CJ’s age, I think it could well be very treatable. He will have to monitor it, but should be OK to have a pro career.

Of course, I am just totally GUESSING that that is his problem. If it is something else, then I have no idea.

I hope he gets real well real soon. Meanwhile, this may have saved his life! Health first, then football. Praying, CJ.

Praying for CJ and this heart issue. So glad they found it now. This young man will be successful at anything he does, even if he can't play football.

CJ impresses me as an exceptional young man. While I wish him the very best in his football career I think he will excel no matter the path he finds himself taking. The great news is the heart condition will not limit him.
