    Some recent transfers from Kentucky:

    LB Eli Brown: Western Kentucky – played with a lot of promise at Kentucky, transferred to WKU, had a good season in 2018 (2 sacks, 1 pbu), doesn’t appear to have returned for 2019

    DT Cavon Butler: Toledo, likely starter at DT in 2020

    QB Danny Clark: Vanderbilt, probably third string behind Hawaii transfer Jeremy Moussa and freshman Ken Seals

    DT Ja'Quize Cross: Akron, likely starter at DT in 2020; 2019, 9 starts, 23 tackles, 1.5 sacks

    CB Stanley Garner: Hampton (unusual place for a 4 star prosepct)

    QB Amani Gilmore: North Texas, will likely battle for 2nd string at QB in 2020

    DE Davoan Hawkins: ?

    QB Gunnar Hoak: Ohio State, probably 4th string QB in 2020

    LB Shawnkel Knight-Goff: ?

    RB Bryant Koback: Toledo – 1,187 yards rushing (6.1 ypc) in just 10 starts in 2019, and was 2nd team All MAC; 2018, 2 starts, 917 yards (6.0 ypc); likely starter/featured back for two more years.

    QB Kolbe Langhi: ?

    K Grant McKinniss: Missouri, should redshirt; is behind 5 kickers already there; one is a very highly regarded freshman (Harrison Mevis); two are redshirt freshmen and all are underclassmen

    LB Xavier Peters: Garden City CC (will be a teammate of former UK commit QB Jarren Williams)

    LB Ashtan Pierre: Highland CC

    TE Drew Schlegel: ?

    LB Tra Wilkins: Independence CC

    QB Walker Wood: McNeese State

    QB Joey Gatewood, Auburn, top 10 at the position in his class

    CB Kelvin Joseph, LSU, top 10-20 at the position in his class

    LB Xavier Peters, Florida State, top at the position in his class

    OT E.J. Price, Southern Cal, top 10-20 at the position in his class

    Xavier was a disappointment, but likely more disappointed himself. Transfers are just part of the gig...and as our recruiting continues to climb (hopefully), we will likely see more transfers out as playing time becomes an issue.
