I was a two-year varsity starter on a team that won like a combined 7 games in those two years and I probably scored 200 career points maybe.

My game was standing 25 feet out and jacking it up like a poor man's Chris Lofton if Chris Lofton was Sheray Thomas.

I had two or three incredible games where I caught fire but I couldn't guard a fat lampost and was arguably the laziest player in KHSAA history. For a short time on the "men's league" circuit I could play a little but my game there was about five notches lazier than my organized game if such a thing is possible.

Basically I played basketball like a man who would go on to have 30,000 message board posts.

Naw, if Will was on the team with Pobilly, Dwight and me, he would be protected.

Well crap. Don’t stop now. Posting, that is.

My LAST basketball was about 6 or 7 years ago when I was 43 or 44. Play on Sunday nights, go home and ice both knees, hurt and limp till the next weekend (patellar tendinitis), then do it all over again. Was trying to get in better shape but did more harm than good. Better suited for the bleachers, scorer’s table or the couch!

My last significant basketball was 8th grade for the Crittenden Co middle school Rockets. I think we won 3 games, can't really remember. If the other team played 2-3 zone I was decent at popping an open 3. Man-to-man, I was worthless. Couldn't dribble. And now that I'm older and understand the game a little more, I know that dribbling is an important aspect of it.

You all sound like All-Americans to me. My organized BB career consists of one 8 pt game in a jr high church-league.

When I first started my corporate career, I was invited to join a bunch of guys who rented a gym on the weekends. I declined because too many of them came in Monday morning on crutches

The last time I played basketball 'competitively' was in a YMCA pickup game about 10-12 years ago when I almost blew out my knee and couldn't walk for 3 days (somehow know actual damage to it though).

Decided that was when I'd hang up the Nikes.

My favorite moment of the game was when Dykes said even when we score it looks like an accident.

You picked a good one to go to, Cathy. So. Car. is pathetic. I believe the Cats are favored by 20+ points. If we should lose tomorrow night (we won't), Cal would probably have to leave town under the cover of darkness.

Wow! Did not know that. Seems like gone are the days you could expect a win when you are supposed to win. You made my day!

Oddsshark.com currently has the Cats favored by 19 pts.
