  • New transfer rules

Needed in my opinion. Probably be tested in court.

Players who have already transferred at least once could have a harder time securing waivers for immediate eligibility at their new programs after the NCAA's Division I council updated its guidelines for the 2023-24 school year. The NCAA announced Wednesday that players who look to transfer after already having done so one or more times must either prove a demonstrated physical injury, illness or mental health condition that necessitated his or her transfer, or that "exigent circumstances" such as physical or sexual abuse necessitate a transfer.

We'll see how tightly the NCAA plays this...."mental health condition" is a pretty vague statement.

Also one that’s super risky to challenge.

We have all made a decision and wanted to back track. We are talking about 17/18 year old decisions. I say they get 1 free move (no penalties). After that it will be up to conference officials and to the team losing the player if they can move within the conference, outside the conference it is a what is best for the athlete. If they are trying to move each year then, board of review shuts it down. If they continue to move to make more NIL, immediate shutdown in or out of conference.
