Cats moved very well and played defense enough to win. Not sure the Vandy players had their heart in this one. They reminded me of us early on.

Nice win in a nasty place. Good to see guys step up. I'm curious as what has happened with Wheeler this year, but possible just not a good fit with this particular crew.

Wheeler was much improved tonight, but for the majority of his minutes, he was playing with two shooters and Oscar instead of Livingston and Ware and Onyensso.

Funny how that works. Our coach is an idiot sometimes.

Wheeler was much improved tonight, but for the majority of his minutes, he was playing with two shooters and Oscar instead of Livingston and Ware and Onyensso.

Funny how that works. Our coach is an idiot sometimes.

I'll even admit that Wheeler didn't play bad tonight. Few things he did was mind numbing as usual but you can see the flow of the game is not the same with him in. The scary part about this is that Cal will probably increase his minutes. Where is Theiro. He needs to be playing.

Worked again. I watched KATE on Netflix and John Carter on Disney Plus. My brother texted during the game which i did not even look at the phone. till 11:10pm. It looks like we played a decent game. I am waiting on highlights to see for myself. I will continue down this path. Hope we can keep this up going into Saturday. GO BIG BLUE.

Wheeler had the highest positive +/- on the team tonight, and that's a result of him playing with our best offensive options.

Cal will have to play Wheeler, but he has to put him in a position to succeed since he's not an offensive threat, and having him share the floor with guys like Livingston and Ware isn't a recipe for success.

Wheeler makes mistakes, but his biggest enemy this year has been Calipari's rotations.

Cal is a discipline guy. Don’t gamble on defense, hold your ground and rebound rather than gamble, lose and then it’s 4 on 5. On offense—value possessions. Don’t waste plays. But then HE—as the coach—throws away several possessions away per game with such lineups. Almost February—still think something’s gunna click with a bunch of non-scorers in together? And it’s not like he’s buying minutes with no points for the trade off that they’re a shutdown defensive group. That’s not a defensive upgrade at all!

Cal has made progress in figuring out this group. He’s just still blind to some obvious no-no’s.
