I started a british show on Netflix last night "Lockwood and Co". Not bad writing. Will watch that. 8 total episodes. Will check in on the game score around 10:30 tonight.

Great idea. I don’t ever do solo. This party will be a UK/UL mix.

I dunno.. Derrick Hord, Ryan Harrow, Sean Sutton, Saul Smith....they all caught it really hard. It actually ruined Hord's career...his confidence was gone. Sean should never have played for his father, Saul likely would have been a fan favorite coming off the bench. Harrow just lived a nightmare while here.

This place really isn't for everybody.

Yeah. But you take it beyond basketball.

Not saying they’re contenders, but people definitely feel like Wheeler is THE guy who holds them back. There are other problems, but that’s the current narrative.

To his credit, he gave an answer to a question this week that was perfect imo. He’s got his mind right if he can continue that approach.

    Saul.

I've seen several of these fan obsession things over the years. Tubby Smith has gotten some of that.

I see it in politics a lot. I'm sure we all do. People who just lose their minds over some cause or theory or whatever.

I think the internet feeds a lot of echo loopy stuff that breathes oxygen into obsession. In and out of sports.

Wheeler is getting the brunt of it now but there will be other players like him in the future.

    Good ball = weak board
    Bad ball = active board

    Same for Twitter.

The volume of discussion certainly picks up when things are running off of the rails. We’ve noted before how other mediums of discussion have taken the place of forums, and of course some of it stems from Calipari having been here so long.

Winning these last few games and improving along the way helped prevent some awful, nasty reactions from UK fans vs Calipari. If he thinks it was getting tough…just be thankful we’re improving.

Gotta win Saturday, it would really help and the fans at Rupp Arena would help create a great environment for this team.
