Seems like when you turn your ankle once you're always going to be susceptible to turning it again.

I rolled my ankle really bad in a pick-up game when I was in my mid 20s. For years, like more than a decade, I woke up with it hurting. It's only been here recently that I don't feel it much. It was really bad.

Also broke my nose in a pick-up game once going up for a put-back that I actually thought I could dunk. (Spoiler alert: I've never dunked.)

not sure what is wrong with Wallace but during the Arkansas game I saw him several times jump up and down off the bench when Reeves was scoring

I am totally baffled by what is going on with Wheeler

      not buying any of it

Wallace turned his ankle in the Vandy game. It absolutely happened because they showed it in slow motion.

I assumed he would sit Saturday to get ready for the SEC Tournament but you never know. As I said above the caution UK generally shows with injuries seems to be way more drastic than it needs to be.

If you watch his injury in slo motion, his foot looked like it kind of went under instead of a actual classic rollover. Strange looking to say the least.

When i was a kid playing football basketball even golf, if i had a injury i would lie just so i could play. I understand future and money is involved with these player but for a nobody like me who liked to compete, i would do anything to play on gameday......

I played a season on a fractured ankle. Stayed black from September to November. Was the dumbest mistake I ever made. I did not tell staff. Just had trainers taping it heavy. Did not affect my speed (defensive guard/tackle) and was able to keep 2 blockers on me every game freeing up others. That said I have broken that ankle 6 or 7 times now and my xray looks like a ky road map. I hope guys do what is best for them even if we do not understand.

So much for the two - three week recovery time for Wheeler

I’d say he’ll be punished for it but I’m glad Jacob told the truth.

For those who can’t stomach clicking on a Cal interview clip—Cal talked about Toppin being injured, practiced once all week and Cal didn’t know if he’d play. Jacob said “I don’t have an injury.”

Oh, lol, he didn’t just say, “I don’t have an injury.” Someone said, “Cal said you were injured,” THEN he said, “I don’t have an injury.

I feel like that extra bit of context is important.

I posted this in the “Team Captain” thread, then remembered this one.

Wheeler’s apparently going to give it a go tomorrow night.
