  • Vanderbilt vs. Kentucky: Game Thread

So here we come to the final week of the regular season. This is yet another Super Important Game (TM) for Kentucky, as it looks to keep its momentum going while it plays for seed rather than whether it's going to make the tournament or not.

Vanderbilt is semi-hot, winners of 6 of their last 7 with only a slip to LSU in there. They will have a healthy Liam Robbins in there, which Kentucky didn't have to face last time. Robbins has been putting together monster games recently, including a near triple double he had against LSU where he notched 9 blocks.

The game is at 7:00 on the SEC Network.

Although Robbins is not as athletic as Castleton, he is big and will give Oscar problems. Hoping Oscar is hitting from outside. We need to keep the momentum going. GO CATS!!!

I agree, let's show up and play hard for 40 minutes....

A win tonight means Kentucky would be the #3 seed in the SEC Tournament next week. We'd play Friday night at 9:30ish.

Super important game but unfortunately one of those games that can hurt us but can’t help us much. Gotta win. And whereas I won’t bet a nickel—I think we win. Got the taste of blood in their mouth and going to bite again. And need to build Rupp mystique back up.

That is, of course, the toughest way through the SEC, and will be very hard on Wallace.

Surely they will play hard and the coaching staff is preparing for Robbins. I hope they want the double bye as much as I do 😉 Cats favored by 10.

Let down game? IU beat Purdue Saturday and then got hammered last night in Bloomington.

I don’t know how this team could take any game for granted, but…….

Hate it for CJ. Would LOVE to see him find his stroke. But looks like he hasn’t. Time to get the starters in Cal

Come on CJ. You're still a shooter.

I like CJ but if he can't hit a open shot,he brings nothing to the table..

On a side note, Oscar maybe Toppin returns next year. More for them NIL than struggling to find a team NBA or overseas...

CJ is really in a slump. Hope he gets out of it.
