  • Wallace expected to play SEC tourney, and Wheeler may play

I heard it on KSR yesterday. I'll have to admit that right now I can't remember if it was a rumor or a fact, but I seriously hope Wheeler gets to play, especially after the booing he got in a game this season. That may have been why he didn't participate in Sr Night.

I can be as critical of UK players as anyone but to boo a college player is just sick to me. I played football in college and used to really annoy me some of the comments made about players by people who had ZERO conception of what it takes to compete at that level. I especially hate comments made about players and injuries. I saw guys play in pain and play on after shots that would have most of us soiling our underwear.

Announcers of Vandy/LSU game said Wheeler didn’t practice today. Take it for what it is worth.

Yeah, I heard that as well.

Said Wallace was "looking healthier out there." Also mentioned Fredrick practicing.

Jload, I think some of the criticism we see now are secondary to how Calipari handles injuries and frankly even in-house punishments. The whole approach is ambiguous at best and so the players often catch some ire over it.

I guess I was overly optimistic.

In the pregame stuff Pat Bradley said "Wallace is healthy."

I don't know if that's a stone cold lock or anything but anyway. Also saw video from UK's Twitter feed of CJ Fredrick shooting and he looked fine.

That's good news. I hope we don't miss Wheeler.
