Never seen so much parity in college basketball in my life, does it really matter if you are a 1 2 3 12 or 16 seed?
Not to toot Calipari's horn because i don't like the culture that's been created or many of the things he does, but Houston and Alabama are epic failures, how does that happen, Is it coaching???
If you don't put the ball in the basket, it doesn't matter. That's not on any coach, that's on the players. Yes a good coach will design and put a player in position to create the best opportunities but players still have to make shots, ESPECIALLY THE FREE THROWS.......
If we ever do win another title, for me it may be the most appreciative one of all, hard to do this with all this parity and everything else that goes on .....

I can imagine a year with no 1 seeds in the final 4. But none in the Elite 8? Crazy.

I think I saw he coaches Overtime Elite now. Should be managing a floundering Foot Locker in a decrepit NJ mall. After UK was eliminated UConn was third on my Must Lose list after the orange stain and UCLA.
I'm not sure they were crappy but definitely got a lot of luck. One of those teams was one of the best free throw shooting teams in NCAA history. They credited it to Steve Nash, of all people, who taught shooting free throws by just stepping up to the line and shooting rather than thinking about it.

Read last night that this is the first time in tournamnet history that a 1 seed isn't in the elite 8Last edited by TrueblueCATfan; 03-25-2023, 02:29 PM.

The other one has a $330 prize so it's not like I'd be rich, but I just want to win so I can say I won. I'm usually out of those things by the end of Day 1.
