  • Found this to be interesting. I guess the last sentence explains the lack of McDonald’s All-Americans

In what is clearly a sign of the times in college basketball, this will be the first Final Four without a McDonald's All-American since the NCAA Tournament began seeding teams in 1979. This is also the first Final Four that does not include a No. 1, 2, or 3 seed.

    • FAU vs SDSU - Who you all got on this game? I think SDSU might just pull this off but part of me is pulling for FAU vs Miami (battle for Florida).

Miami vs UCONN - Not pulling for UCONN at all but do like the way they play. Love the Miami team and hope they continue to do the almost impossible.

I think this will be a great final four to watch, almost as good as the Villanova in Rupp or NC State way back. Hope we see some great ball.

      • I would pick SD State and UConn to win, so it's probably going to be FAU and Miami. I've had the most fun watching FAU though, so it'll probably be SD State. I'd much rather Miami win than UConn, so that one will probably be UConn.

National Champion will be: UConn probably (so I'm going to pick Miami)

For me to pick a champion I would want SDSU or FAU first choice. Then Miami and finally no champion. lol Just do not want UCONN to have another.

          • I’m no UConn fan either but honestly all the teams I despise are already out or never even got in. When the only team I love is out and no teams I cannot stand are left I just don’t really care who wins it. So I guess I’ll root for exciting games.

            • If Florida Atlantic wins the national championship, it would almost -- almost -- make up for the awful stupidity of this college basketball season and Kentucky's misery.

              • I am guilty of missing great basketball last weekend and will probably be guilty of missing some good games in the Final Four...

Oh well, opening day MLB, not worried about college ball if Kentucky isn't playing,

The poor old Reds may get to 105 losses this year. It's gonna be brutal.

                    • Saw that the payroll for the Reds players that are available today is around $20 million.

                        Holy crap. That’s 1950’s payroll.

This is almost unbelievable. Talk about a tank.

                          • It's mostly because a couple (or 3?) of their higher-paid players are injured. But still. That's low, and not fair to Reds fans.

I am a lifelong die hard Dodgers fan but if you ever had the opportunity to be around Jeff Wyler( minority owner) then you may change your tune. I respect Wyler for being self made but after a few drinks sitting at a table with him you can see how arrogant of a A hole he is, his son David and daughter Jessica not like that at all, plus they big Cincinatti Bearcat fans, boooo....

I will give him credit though, his state of the art private car museum in Batavia Ohio is mind blowing, he has many old makes and models of prestige cars in that place, pretty cool if you ask me. In all fairness he actually treated me pretty good but i think was trying to be playboy showing off in front of my wife lol lol...

As for Castellini, he inquired with my company a few years ago about potentially doing some business together. I called him back and emailed him a few times but could never get my foot in the door to speak with him directly, i never made it past the secretary fielding all his calls. Think if i could have talked with him we could have done business....

Anyways, go Dodgers but i do wish the Reds well...[/QUOTE]

Same with the Oakland A's but with the A's revenue is close to the top for the entire league. The pay less make much more, them owners getting filthy rich....
