  • Game Thread: Kentucky vs. Kansas St.

You all know the stakes. Best-case scenario for Kentucky is that they've broken the seal on an NCAA Tournament win and throw out an Auburn/Arkansas/Tennessee game and move on to the Sweet 16. Worst-case? They play lazy, unmotivated, and put up a clunker the way they've done several time this years. Say it again: nobody knows what to expect from UK.

I do think this will be a close game either way. As we all know Toppin vs. Johnson is *the* match-up, but Wallace on Markquis Nowell is another one that we have to win. I've seen Kansas St. a couple of times this year and both times Nowell was tough as nails. Wallace can't let him control the game because if he does, we lose. Probably badly.

    Game's at 2:40.

Their point guard is 5’8”” so will our guards try to post him up?

I was going to say this above. I think that will be part of the plan. He's a bulldog sort of guy though so if you post him up you better be ready for a fight.

I’m pretty concerned about them dicing Oscar up with back door cuts. Our ability to make up for his defensive issues will tell the tale.

I hate the tournament game day feeling in the pit of my stomach. Watching the games is essentially torture.

Why do I do this to myself?

This is a big game for all of BBN. Because of obligations at Church, I will miss most of the first half so y'all have to watch the officials for awhile. On my bracket I have us losing, so naturally I hope I'm wrong. GO CATS!!!

I think Jesus would give you a break for blowing off those obligations today, Lighthouse.

I'm sure Lighthouse wouldn't give himself a break. That's the thing about it.

I’ve been wringing my hands since yesterday. Why DO we do this to ourselves?
